Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten time required for the analysis of a speech by preparing a rule table by the use of a program describing clause structure rules and referring to the rule table to recognize each clause. CONSTITUTION: All independent words and adjuncts 11 included in a morpheme dictionary are inputted to the program 12 describing the clause structure rules. When a clause can be constituted of all the combinations of the independent words and adjuncts 11 or not is analyzed and a table 13 describing the clause structure rules of all the independent words and adjuncts 11 is prepared. When all the independent words and adjuncts 11 are applied, whether the independent words and adjuncts 11 can constitute a clause or not can be analyzed by referring to the table 13. Consequently time necessary for voice recognition can be shortened.
