Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the safety by stopping a motor as soon as any one of a torque sensor, an A/D converter, the control part, and a D/A converter malfunctions. CONSTITUTION:A comparing circuit 11 compares an output signal from a D/A converter 5A, which is a detection signal of a torque sensor TS1, with a detection signal of a torque sensor TS2. When the difference between the signal values is smaller than the preset value, on output signal is issued because the above-mentioned difference is regarded as permissible errors for the torque TS1 and TS2, D/A converter 5A, etc. When the difference exceeds the preset value due to malfunctions, however, a signal is output to a motor power supply cut-off circuit 10 because it is considered that malfunctions of some part is detected. Then, the cut-off circuit 10 conducts cut-off movement, thereby separating a motor power supply 9 from a motor 8. As a result, the rotation of the motor 8 is suspended.
