Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently cool an engine by means of a radiator with the use of low temperature cooling air by sectioning an engine compartment into a front chamber storing therein the radiator and a cooling fan and a rear chamber storing therein the engine, with the use of a partition plate. CONSTITUTION:An engine room 2 is incorporated therein a partition plate 11 which sections the engine room 2 into a front chamber 2A storing therein a radiator 9 and a cooling fan 10, and a rear chamber 2B storing therein an engine room 2. The ambient air is introduced through a cooling air intake port 12 so as to be used as cooling air for cooling the radiator 9, and is thereafter discharged forward through a discharge port 14 so as to produce an ascending air stream due to the heat of an engine so that the ambient air is introduced into the rear chamber 2B from the lower section thereof. Meanwhile the heat of the engine is discharged to the outside through a heat discharge port 13 so as to cool the rear chamber 2B.
