Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance resolving power in an X-direction and to suppress grating side lobe, by using all of the circuits connected to the vibrator element of a diagnostic apparatus even when a near part is observed in the same way as in the case when a remote part is observed. CONSTITUTION:When a deep part is observed, the dynamic contact S3 of a switch 12 is connected to a contact S2 and an outside vibrator element 3 is connected to a B-circuit and a central vibrator element 10a is connected to an A-circuit. With respect to a near point, the dynamic contact S3 of the switch 12 is connected to a contact S1 and the B-circuit is connected to a central vibrator element 10b. The central vibrator element 10a is connected to the A-circuit.
