Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably move a head in the shaft direction of a tape and to coincide the head locus at the time of reproducing with the recording locus by current- driving the driving part of a rotary drum control device, increasing an output impedance and supplying a prescribed control current from an external part regardless of the change of the contact resistance of the driving part. CONSTITUTION:At a driving part 4a of a rotary drum control device, a head 5 is arranged which is cooperated with a coil in a magnetic circuit and can be displaced in the shaft direction of a magnetic tape 13, a control current is supplied from a contact 14 to the driving part 4a, and an electrode 15 to connect the coil is brought into contact with the contact 14. A lower transformer 7 and an upper transformer 8 to connect the coil and the driving part 4a are housed and in the rotary drum by upper and lower drums 3 and 2.
