Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An oscillation transmission plate 8 is provided with oscillation sensors 6 whose number is larger than a minimum required number of sensors for the coordinate detection processing, and plural properest oscillation sensors out of oscillation sensors are used in accordance with output states of oscillation sensors 6 to detect the input oscillation, thereby inputting coordinates. For example, oscillation sensors from which proper output states are obtained are selected in accordance with output signal levels of oscillation sensors and are used for coordinate calculation. Thus, coordinates are always accurately inputted independently of the change of the degree of signal attenuation due to the position of the coordinate input point.
