シエイブとからなる駆動および従動プーリと、該
駆動および従動プーリ間に巻き掛けられたベルト
部材とを備え、上記各プーリの可動シエイブを相
対向する固定シエイブに対し接離させて各プーリ
のベルト部材に対する有効半径を変化させること
により、両回転軸間の変速比を可変としたベルト
式無段変速機において、上記従動プーリの可動シ
エイブに接触して従動プーリを制動するブレーキ
部材と、該ブレーキ部材を上記可動シエイブと接
触する方向に付勢するスプリング部材と、上記ブ
レーキ部材を、上記駆動プーリの有効半径が最小
になりかつ従動プーリの有効半径が最大となつて
両回転軸間の動力伝達が遮断されるニユートラル
時に上記ブレーキ部材を上記可動シエイブに接触
させる一方、非ニユートラル時には可動シエイブ
から離隔させるように位置決めして支持する支持
部材とを備えてなることを特徴とするベルト式無
