Then, when the DC voltage detection signal 16 is less than the allowable value, a main circuit is formed by connecting a DC breaker 5 through a DC breaker closing command from the comparison logical operation circuit 17, and at the same time, a thyristor gate signal 14 is outputted from a phase control circuit 13. On one hand, in case of exceeding the allowable value, either a closing of the DC breaker 5 is prohibited, or the DC breaker 5 is opened by deciding that something is wrong with thyristor rectifier 4.
