Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a speaker, in which the relation of a sound output waveform against an electric input, i.e., a sound signal is linearized, and the distortion of a sound is suppressed by equalizing the displacements of a diaphragm to move forward and backward. CONSTITUTION:In the speaker, which is provided with a driving end part 6, at one of whose ends a driving coil 13 is formed, and the diaphragm 1, whose vibrating surface is formed into a curve, and a diaphragm driving device 4, arranged so as to nip and hold the driving end part 6 at a position lying nearly along the direction of the same diaphragm, and whose diaphragm 1 vibrates in a rectangular direction against the driving direction of the driving end part, a magnetic driving force between the diaphragm driving device 4 and the driving end part is changed according to the driving position of the driving end part 6. Thus, the driving end part of the dia phragm 1 is driven in the rectangular direction against the vibrating direction of the vibrating surface, and on account of this, the vibrating surface, formed to be curved, is vibrated, and the sound is generated, and the displacements of the diaphragm 1 to move forward and backward can be equalized, and the relation of the sound output waveform against the electric input, i.e., the sound signal is linearized, and the distortion of a sound output can be suppressed.
