Abstract

PURPOSE:To form plural optical transmission lines by setting respective optical coupling parts of one connector main body opposite respective coupling parts of the other connector main body when the connector main bodies are rotated by a specific angle. CONSTITUTION:Optical coupling parts 13a are embedded on the rotary axes of the connector main bodies 10a and 10b and other optical coupling parts 13b are embedded close to the peripheral edges. Further, one-side end surfaces of the optical coupling parts 13a on the rotary axes are always opposite, but one-side end surfaces of the optical coupling parts 13b are put opposite across a gap by rotating the connector main bodies 10a and 10b by the specific angle. Further, the optical coupling parts 13 are formed of rod lenses and coupling holes 14 for coupling the fiber connection parts of optical fibers 20 are provided. Therefore, an optical communication is enabled through the optical coupling parts 13a arranged on the rotary axes and the connectors 13b are rotated as specified to enable an optical communication through the other optical coupling parts. Consequently, plural optical transmission paths are formed.
