Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a cooling or heating capability of each of indoor heat exchanges uniform by a method wherein an upstream side indoor heat exchanger of an indoor heat exchanger is provided with a bypass pipe connecting its suction side with its discharging side, the bypass pipe and a suction side pipe are provided with a flow rate adjusting device. CONSTITUTION: Refrigerant compressed by a compressor 1 during a cooling operation, condensed by an outdoor heat exchanger 2 and expanded by a throating device 3 is divided to flow at a branched part of a bypass pipe 7a, its part is directly supplied to an upstream side indoor heat exchanger 4a and the remaining refrigerant is flowed to the bypass pipe 7a. Then, the refrigerant loaded at the upstream side indoor heat exchanger 4a and the refrigerant under no load are supplied to a downstream side indoor heat exchanger 4b. A supplying amount of each of the refrigerants to each of the indoor heat exchangers 4a, 4b is adjusted by flow rate adjusting devices 12a, 13a, respectively. In addition, during a heating operation, the flow becomes like as indicated by a dotted line and the refrigerant is branched to the suction side of the upstream side indoor heat exchanger 4b and the bypass pipe 7b and its flow rate is adjusted by the flow rate adjustment devices 12b, 13b, respectively.
