Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively reduce a noise at the time of combustion by smoothing the flow of a combustion gas to prevent a combustion sound from being amplified due to a turbulent flow and further to reduce the flow speed of the combustion gas by imparting a pressure loss to the exhaust combustion gas, in an exhaust chamber of the burner such as a hot water supplier or the like. CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust chamber C of a hot water supplier, a curved inner plate 8 is mounted over the lower end of the back surface to the front end of the upper surface in an inward recessed state to smoothen the flow of an exhaust combustion gas from an inlet part 7 to an outlet part 1 and to prevent turbulent flows from being generated at the room corner parts. At the same time, smoothing plates 2 are provided to control the flow of the exhaust combustion gas. Furthermore, a shielding part is formed at the lateral central part of an exhaust port (d), and an auxiliary vent port having a large number of small holes is provided in the proximities of both left and right sides of the shielding part. Further, a main vent port d-3 is provided at both left and right sides of the auxiliary vent port. Consequently, the exhaust combustion gas is reduced in flow speed due to the pressure loss generated and, at the same time, the flow of the combustion gas is regulated by the inner plate 8 and the smoothing plate 2. Thus, the combustion sound is arrested.
