外光のスペクトル特性を検出するスペクトルセン
サー及び検知回路とピーク波長や最も弱い波長を
検知する第一のセンサー・データ処理部とで構成
される外光スペクトル検出部と、 速度、温度等の自動車の計器情報を検出するセ
ンサー及び検出回路と第二のセンサー・データ処
理部とで構成される表示データ検出部と、 前記外光スペクトル検出部からの出力信号によ
り、表示色を可変制御し同時に前記表示データ検
出部の表示制御を行うシステム制御部と該システ
ム制御部からの出力信号で表示をするシンボル表
示部と前記シンボル表示部の出力をスクリーンに
投影する光学系デイスプレイから構成される表示
部とからなり、 外光のスペクトル特性を検知し、その検知され
たスペクトルに対応してシンボル表示色を、視認
性の良い且つ高いコントラスト比になる波長に可
変することを特徴とするヘツドアツプデイスプレ
イ装置。 (2) 光学系デイスプレイにおいては、外光スペ
クトルの最も弱い波長でシンボルを表示すること
