Abstract
PURPOSE:To omit a recovery processing function of a process for a slave OS of a virtual computer by securing such a constitution where a VM monitor carries out the recovery processing for an executing process when a fault occurs after a fault is processed in a real computer system in case a main body fault occurs while a virtual computer is working. CONSTITUTION:A fault information extracting means is added to a VM monitor (virtual computer control program) 14 which controls plural virtual computers to take the information on a process which is so far carried out by a virtual computer having a fault in its main body system out of a fault information storing area, together with a faulty process recovering means which recovers a process having a fault in its main body system based on the fault information taken out of the fault information extracting means, and a re-executing means which re-executes the process recovered by the faulty process recovering means. Then the monitor 14 carries out the recovery processing of the process carried out by the virtual computer having a fault in its main body system. As a result, the virtual computers 15 and 16 require no process recovery processing function.
