Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the discharge capacity of a pump by connecting an arc suppressing circuit to an electric power source part for control and installing a resistor between a coil and a diode and controlling the combustion quantity in proportion continuously, in the driving circuit for electromagnetic pump for feeding fuel. CONSTITUTION:An arc-suppressing circuit 40 connects an electric power source part 50 for control which is separated from a rectifying circuit and can be voltage-controlled and the gate of the second thyristor SCR2 through a calculation amplifier and a comparison circuit. The coil Ps of a pump connects a rectifying diode D1 so as to conduct to a positive buss through a resistor R22 from the side connected with a main thyristor SCR1. Since, in a the coil Ps for driving the pump, the residual magnetic flux due to the counter electromotive force generated in the electric conduction repose period of the intermittent electric current in pulse form for during eliminates the residual magnetic flux which becomes a cause for suppressing the above-described residual magnetic flux during the return cycle of a plunger for operating the pump, the discharge capacity of the pump can be improved.
