Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an operation for sticking substrates and to automate said operation by forming a guide shaft in the central hole of the substrates into a hollow structure and projecting a leaf spring contained in the hollow part from the hole part provided to the side face thereof, thereby holding the substrates. CONSTITUTION:The lower substrate 1 is first supplied downward by holding the central hole thereof along a guide shaft 11 and is received by the projecting part of a leaf spring 12. A pushing shaft 17 is then lowered in an arrow direction 18 and the leaf spring 12 is deflected toward the center of the guide shaft 11 by a circular conical-shaped recess, by which the lower substrate 1 is dropped into the step part of the guide shaft 11. The pushing shaft 17 is thereafter returned upward and an adhesive agent 3 is supplied onto the lower substrate 1. The upper substrate 2 is also supplied downward in the same manner as for the lower substrate 1 and the upper and lower substrates 1, 2 are stuck to each other. The substrates 1, 2 are thereafter lifted to the upper side of the guide shaft 11 while the interference of the leaf spring 12 and the central holes of the substrates is prevented, following which the pushing shaft 17 is returned upward and the substrates 1, 2 are removed.
