Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently dry two lines of running paper with a single drying equipment by arranging insulating members sandwiching many electrodes installed in parallel to which HF voltage is applied and by rendering two lines of paper to be heated continuously run along surfaces of upper and lower insulating members. CONSTITUTION: When HF voltage is applied across electrodes and two lines of dual-face corrugated cardboard sheets 3 and 3' to be dried pass on surfaces of upper and lower insulators 14 and 14', respectively, while sliding, upper and lower electric fields 18 and 18' induce heat, which heats and dries paste. When passing through induction heating unit 6a, the corrugated cardboard sheet 3 that runs upper side is pressured with belt 8 and air 13, while the corrugated cardboard sheet 3' that runs lower side is pressured with belt 8' and air 13', causing the both are always made contact with the induction heating unit 6a. Owing to this, induction heating becomes continuously possible.
