成しかつこの各コモン電極面にシヤツタ部と対応
する部分を除いてシヤツタ部領域を規制する遮光
金属膜を形成した第1の透明基板と、前記各コモ
ン電極と対向する複数の透明セグメント電極をコ
モン電極長さ方向に配列形成した第2の透明基板
とを電極形成面を内側にして対向配置し、この両
基板間に液晶を充填した液晶シヤツタにおいて、
前記両基板のいずれか一方の電極形成面に、前記
各コモン電極間の間隙に沿わせて、不透明な無機
絶縁膜を前記間隙を覆う幅に設けたことを特徴と
する液晶シヤツタ。 (2) 前記無機絶縁膜は、アモルフアスシリコン
膜であることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範
