Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the high rate of recognition by inserting an address converter between in address counter and a picture memory in a vehicle discriminator and obtaining a picture having little distortion even when a photographing angle alpha is deep. CONSTITUTION:The address converter 97 is actually constituted of a ROM (Read Only Memory), the address of the picture memory 92 after a conversion is recorded in the respective addresses of the ROM, the address outputted from the address counter 94 is inputted and the recorded and converted address is outputted to a corresponding address. In such a constitution, at the time of projecting the vehicle 2, a video signal 8 is quantized at every picture element by an A/D converter 91 and respective picture element positions are decided by a synchronizing and separating circuit 93 and the address counter 94. A coordinate on the picture memory applied by the address counter 94 is corrected by the address converter 97. Consequently, the video signal 8 has a file position corrected correspondingly to the photographing angle alpha and is stored on the picture memory 92.
