Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a ceramic molding body degreased at relatively low temps. and accompanied by no fracture-formation in each stage by incorporating ceramic powders with a prescribed thermoplastic resin mixture as a binder, and molding, degreasing, then sintering or solidifying after melting the incorporated mixture. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic powders are mixed with the binder consisting of the thermoplastic resin shown below in a suitable kind of solvent, and molded in a sheet form with, e.g., the doctor blade process. The molded sheet is then sintered and/or solidifying after melting to obtain the target ceramic molding body. The above-mentioned binder used in this invention is the thermoplastic resin mixture of a polypropylene carbonate and/or polyethylene carbonate and alpha-methylstyrene and/or ethylene oligomer. By applying this investigation, the molding body is uniformly prepd. before degreasing, and also degreased at relatively low temps., and the target ceramic molding body can be produced without fractures at the time of processing, degreasing, sintering and/or solidifying after melting.
