Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an apparatus for measuring components in liquid, in which a liquid to be measured is not required to be diluted with a buffer liquid, by enclosing a sensor in a tightly closed chamber, measuring the liquid to be measured, and increasing a gas pressure in the tightly closed chamber. CONSTITUTION:A sensor part is formed with a sensor electrode part 12b and a lead electrode part 12c on a substrate 12a and provided at a shelf part 16c of a cabinet 16. When a cap 11 is closed, a tightly closed chamber 19 is formed by keeping airtightness with a sealing material 10, which is provided in the cabinet 16. Then, a gas is fed through a gas feeding port 17a so as to pressurize the inside of the tightly closed chamber 19. The liquid to be measured is measured in the tightly closed chamber 19. When the gaseous pressure in the tightly closed chamber 19 is increased, the amount of dissolved oxygen in the liquid to be measured becomes high. Even if a high concentration raw liquid is used intactly as the liquid to be measured, the ability of enzyme is not decreased. The reaction of an electrode is not hampered. Therefore, it is not required to dilute the liquid to be measured, and the components in the liquid can be measured in this way.
