Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply load with sufficient electric power by connecting an auxiliary solar cell in series with a solar cell when a battery is overcharged in a circuit in which the battery and load are connected to the solar cell. CONSTITUTION:In a circuit in which a battery 2a and load 3a are connected to a solar cell 1a for a main-power source and a battery 2b and load 3b are connected to a solar cell 1b for a sub-power source, changeover switches 4-6 turning series connection ON-OFF are fitted between both solar cells 1a and 1b. When the battery 2a is overcharged, both solar cells 1a and 1b are connected in series, and generating voltage is increased. Accordingly, load 3a can be supplied with sufficient power even when terminal voltage is elevated under the state of the overcharging of the battery 2a and an output from the solar cell 1a is inhibited.
