Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection of a flat cable, and to reduce the loss of driving torque by housing the cable with a folding circular section into an annular void demarcated between the outer circumferential surface of an inner ring body and the inner circumferential surface of an outer ring body. CONSTITUTION:A robot hand 11 and a nose gripping section 12 are coupled rotatably through a bearing 13. The rotating driving force of a motor 14 is transmitted over a gear 17 through a gear 15 and a belt 16, and the gripping section 12 is turned by the revolution of the gear 17. When an inner ring body 21 is rotated with the revolution of the gripping section 12 in the constitution, a flat cable 23 repeats only contacts and noncontacts with the corresponding circumferential surfaces 21a, 22a of both ring bodies 21, 22, and the motion of the flat cable 23 can be guided smoothly. Accordingly, not only there is no possibility in which the flat cable 23 is twisted and rubbed and disconnected but also the loss of driving torque can be reduced.
