Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a bed apparatus for a disabled person rich in convenience to use, by operating a backrest part, a leg receiving part and a footrest part in connection with each other by a connection link and a posture limiting lever. CONSTITUTION:One end of a posture limiting lever 41 is pivotally mounted to a seat part 17 and the other end thereof is pivotally mounted to a footrest part 20 while one end of a connection lever 35 is pivotally mounted to a backrest part 16 and the other end thereof is pivotally mounted to a leg receiving part 19 and the drive member 29 operable by a motor 23 is allowed to be connected with the proper region of the connection lever 35, the backrest part 16 or the leg receiving part 19. When the drive member 29 is operated by the rotation of the motor 23 so as to advance and retract, the backrest part 16, the leg receiving part 19 and the footrest part 20 perform required operations corresponding thereto and a mat member 3 in a horizontal developed state is bent into a chair shape and again returned to the horizontal developed state by reverse operation. As mentioned above, the backrest part and the leg receiving part can be simultaneously operated by one motor.
