Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute the phase synchronization of the color burst of a color television signal with a horizontal synchronization, by using two kinds of first and second phase reference signals. CONSTITUTION:At a transmission part, a color subcarrier and horizontal synchronization generator 3a and a frequency-dividing circuit 5 generated the phase reference signal synchronizing with the color burst signal of an input color television signal and the horizontal synchronization. The phase reference signal is sampled and transmitted at every fixed sample of a transmission clock from a transmission path clock generating circuit 9. At a receiving part, a feed-back is reproduced so that the phase reference signal decoded by a decoding circuit 16 and the phase reference signal generated by a color subcarrier and horizontal synchronizing circuit 21 and a frequency-dividing circuit 18 can be made into a fixed phase relation. Thus, the phase synchronization of the color burst with horizontal synchronization can be executed.
