Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow the titled branching filter to have both a connecting function and a branching function, by connecting the branch parts of a first filter and a second filter consisting of a dielectric filter by a coaxial cable, and selecting suitably length of its coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION:The first filter 1 consists of a dielectric core 2 being homogeneous and a simple substance, and provided with plural dielectric resonators having plural cylindrical center conductors 3. Also, to a terminal electrode 4 of the filter 1, one end part 21b of a coaxial cable 20 of prescribed length la is connected, and one end part 22b of a shielding wire of the coaxial cable 20 is connected to a metallized side face of the first filter 1. Moreover, the second filter 10 consists of a dielectric core 11 being homogeneous and a simple substance, in the same way as the first filter 1, and provided with plural dielectric resonators having plural cylindrical center conductors 12. As for the filter 10, to a third terminal electrode 13 to which a second frequency signal is inputted, one end part 31b of a core of a coaxial cable 30 of prescribed length lb is connected, and one end part 32b of a shielding wire of its coaxial cable 30 is connected to a metallized side face of the second filter 10.
