Abstract
PURPOSE: To cut a concrete floor board with a water jet without allowing water to flow nor a cut concrete block to fall down by attaching a protective plate composed of a steel sheet and a spongy filler to the bottom face of the floor board at the cutting section. CONSTITUTION: A concrete floor board 1 is demolished in such a way that a protective plate 5 composed of a steel sheet 6 of about 1-3 mm in thickness and a spongy filler 7 of about 5-20 mm in thickness is arranged immediately under the cutting position of a floor board 1 and fitted to the lower surface of the board 1 with hole-in anchors 8. Then the floor board 1 is shaved off from the upper surface of the board 1 with a water jet 10 spouted from a nozzle 9 and, when the unshaved-off part of the board 1 becomes a little, the water jet 10 is stopped and the board 1 is cut by chipping. Therefore, all necessary work can be executed from the upper surface of the board 1 and flowing of water and dropping of a cut concrete block 2 can be prevented. In addition, the chipping work can be made easier.
