Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate loading and unloading operation by inclining objects through angle displacement of a detent member, inserting a contact member facing this detent member between objects for grasping the object, placing it on a receipt table through transverse motion, and lifting/sinking together as in a single piece. CONSTITUTION:A detent member 62 in the form of inverted L is put in close contact with the upper and side edge members of an object to be transported 11, and in this condition, angle displaced by a cylinder 63 in the A direction. Thus a void 175 is produced to the adjoining object, and into this void a contact member 64 is sunk with expansion of another cylinder 65, and the object is grasped by the detent member 62 and contact member 64. A third cylinder 8 is contracted, and the whole gripping means 6 moves to a receipt table 7, whereon the object 11 is placed. These stacking device 1 is moved vertically and sideways. This enables automatic loading/unloading without need for human labor.
