PURPOSE:To obtain a stretchable conductive rubber with reliability and less hysterisis loss by preliminarily cross linking conductive silicone rubber mixed with carbon black and graphite, and thereafter impregrating a silicone oil soluble with this conductive silicone rubber by 5-50%. CONSTITUTION:Conductive silicone rubber mixed with carbon black and graphaite is cross linked preliminarily, followed by that a silicon oil soluble to this conductive silicone rubber is impregnated therein. Both ends of the rubber, in the longitudinal direction, formed on the basis of this conductive silicone rubber and silicone oil soluble therewith are fixed to electrodes, while the rubber is extended by moving one or both of the electrodes in a direction to be remote from each other, and the electric resistance is reduced according to the degree of extention. It is thus possible to resume the conductivity continuously, and to prevent delay in deformation of reciprocating lines and a returning line between the rubber and electrodes due to frictional resistance, and also to keep resiliency with less creep.
