Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 is wound with a spiral rod 2 having large diameter portions 2a and small diameter portions 2b alternately Since cross-section of the spiral rod 2 varies in longitudinal direction, motion blocking function of the spiral rod 2 differs at the large diameter portion 2a and the small diameter portion 2b when snow fallen onto the wire 1 moves around the wire 1 then blocked by the spiral rod 2, and thereby shearing force is applied onto the blocked snow thus splitting the snow.
