Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a clad material which is mechanically soft, is highly tough and has high adhesive strength by constituting a specific copolymer of a specific compsn. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer contg. 50-95wt.% structural unit expressed by formula I and 5-50wt.% structural unit expressed by formula II is used as the clad material which is chemically bonded or hydrogen bonded to a core material and has high adhesiveness. In formula, X is H or CH3; Y is H or F; (n) is integer in the range of 1-6; (m) is integer in the range of 1-10. The clad layer which has good adhesiveness, is transparent and has the smooth surface is thereby formed and the clad material which is highly soft and tough and does not crack and peel in spite of bending is obtd.
