Abstract

1. Writing boards, in particular large-surface blackboards, having a transparent glass plate (4 ; 4, 4'), one side (4a ; 4a, 4'a) of which is used as the writing surface and is roughened, and having a support made of sheet metal (1), preferably of sheet steel, to which the glass plate is secured by adhesion, characterized in that a coloured lacquer layer (2 ; 2, 2') is connected to the sheet metal (1), and in that an adhesive transparent resilient intermediate layer (3 ; 3, 3') is arranged between this lacquer layer (2 ; 2, 2') and the glass plate (4 ; 4, 4').
