Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A position arithmetic circuit 1 passes outputs OUT1-OUT4 from the radiation position detector 2 through amplifier 3a-3d and gate integrators 4a-4d and then position computing elements 5a-5c performs position arithmetic operation individually to output arithmetic results P1-P3. Then when a signal is inputted to the end part of the detector 2, a comparator 6 sends an arithmetic result P1 (or P2) as a comparison result to a selector 7, which selects the arithmetic result P1 (or P2) to obtain a position output signal DT. Consequently, the end effect of the end part of the detector 2 is reduced and the position of signal input to the end part is also detected with accuracy.
