Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excelling in moldability and mechanical strengths and having stable electroconductivity, by mixing a thermoplastic resin with a zinc oxide powder of a specified particle diameter, oxidized low-MW polypropylene and a coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition containing 5-50pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (A) and 95-50pts.wt. zinc oxide powder (B) of a mean particle diameter of 0.2-5mu and containing 0.1-2pts.wt. oxidized low-MW polypropylene (C) and 0.1-2pts.wt. coupling agent (D) per 100pts.wt. in total of components (A) and (B). When the mean particle diameter of the zinc oxide powder used is below 0.2mu, the moldability is poor, and when it is above 5mu, the mechanical strengths of a molding tend to decrease. It is preferable that said polypropylene has an average MW in the range of 1,500-20,000. As said coupling agents, silane and silicone coupling agents are particularly preferable.
