Abstract

PURPOSE: To save energy by constituting a refrigerating machine of a rotary compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducing unit, an evaporator, a high pressure side valve interposed between the evaporator and the capacitor, and a low pressure side valve interposed between the evaporator and the rotary compressor. CONSTITUTION: When a refrigerating machine is operating, refrigerant gas delivered from a rotary compressor 1 flows smoothly to a condenser 4, the high pressure circuit 5a of a fluid control valve 5, a capillary tube 6, an evaporator 7, the low pressure circuit 5b of a fluid control valve 5, a suction line 8 and the compressor 1. When the compressor 1 is stopped during the stoppage of the refrigerating machine, the low pressure side valve 17 and the high pressure side valve 15 of the fluid control valve 5 are closed simultaneously to prevent superheat gas from flowing into the evaporator 7. When a transition is made from stopping state to operating state, gas in the gas reservoir 10e of a valve chamber 10c is absorbed as the compressor 1 is operated. Consequently, the load onto the motor section of the compressor 1 is reduced and the compressor 1 is started easily.
