Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the space to install a device small by forming the air passage as a smoothly curving curved passage and providing an air discharging port of one side at the downstream end of the curved passage and opening the other air discharging port on the outer side of the curve of said curved section and providing a damper at the curved section. CONSTITUTION:When a damper 29a which is provided at the curved section is operated to change its action, the air discharged from a cross-flow fan 32a is discharged from either one of air discharge ports 27a and 28a or from both. Because in this case the air discharge port 28a and damper 29a are provided at a curved section which curves smoothly, the air flow does not change its direction abruptly and the area of the passage does not change suddenly. Accordingly the loss in air blow is small with better air discharge efficiency, and there is no fear of developing vibration and noises. Furthermore, because the air passage 25a is a curved passage which curves smoothly and the damper 29a is provided in this curved section, the device becomes small and the space to install it can be small.
