Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify circuit constitution, by using the intermediate frequency of a SECAM as a reference. CONSTITUTION:A television signal RFb of the SECAM system is converted to the intermediate frequency by a tuner 8, and a video intermediate frequency signal PIFsb is extracted by a band pass filter 9. The video intermediate frequency signal PIFsb is LLD-converted by a detecting circuit 3 to extract a video signal. On the other hand, a sound intermediate frequency signal SIFsb is extracted by an SIF filter 10 from an intermediate frequency signal outputted from a tuner 1 and supplied to a detecting circuit 7. The sound intermediate frequency signal SIFsb is AM-detected and a sound signal is extracted. Accordingly, the same sound intermediate frequency is obtained among the VHF high band, a UHF band and a VHF low band of the television wave of the SECAM system. Thus, one filter (SIF filter 10) is enough to extract the sound intermediate frequency.
