Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a large operating range and reduce variation in frequency due to a posture by providing two sets of parallel links placed in parallel for transmitting a motor power via first to third links and forming an angle between both first links in a specific value. Further, the operating planes of the link mechanisms 2, 2' are mutually different parallel planes, without interfering with each other even when the two links 2b, 2b' are in positions to be mutually superposed, obtaining a large operating range. And, by using two sets of parallel link mechanisms, the variation in natural frequency due to a posture can be reduced, while by setting the angle between the first links 2a, 2a' at 90 deg., the variation in frequency can be minimized.
