Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a large resiliency characteristic with no variation with time in resiliency in a vehicle floating spring by providing plural superconducting electromagnets in which a permanent current flows, and utilizing the electromagnetic force between these electromagnets as a spring force. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting electromagnets 1, 2, 1', 2' have nearly the same coil shape each being installed on an upper frame 11 and a lower frame 12. And, the superconducting electromagnets are previously excited by a permanent current so that their current values are mutually in the opposite directions, and their installing positions are guided so that the axes of coils agree. Thereby, a spring having a large resiliency in a stationary condition due to the permanent current in the superconducting electromagnets while having a large resiliency characteristic with no variation with time in resiliency can be obtained.
