Abstract

PURPOSE:To adequately remove drain from the tip part of a nozzle blade without lowering turbine performance, by a method wherein liquid flowing the tip part of the nozzle blade is sucked from a drain groove, and is injected through an injection hole toward the root part of a moving blade. CONSTITUTION:Each of final two-stage step parts L-1 and L-0 of a steam turbine is formed with a steam turbine nozzle 1 and a moving blade 2 situated on the downstream side of a steam flow A. The steam turbine nozzle 1 is formed with a nozzle outer ring 3, a plurality of nozzle blades 4, and a nozzle inner ring 5. In this constitution, a radially extended drain groove 8 is formed in the tip part on the belly side of each nozzle blade 4, and the groove 8 is connected to a conducting passage 13 through a guide passage 9. Meanwhile, the conducting passage 13 is formed such that it is extended in the nozzle blade 4 radially of a nozzle. An injection hole 14 is formed in the nozzle inner ring 5, and the both ends of the injection hole 14 are respectively opened to the conducting passage 13 and the moving blade 2.
