Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve safety and operability of starting operation by providing a means for resetting to power interrupted state if a clutch is in power transmitted state when an engine is started thereby eliminating operation for resetting the clutch to power interrupted state. CONSTITUTION:A small lawn mower comprises steering motors M1, M2 for front and rear wheels a motor M3 for controlling a drive/reverse switching clutch. These motors M1-M3 are controlled through a controller 28 based on information fed from a receiver 10, steering angle detecting means R1, R2 and drive/reverse detection switches SW1, SW2. A means 101 for detecting feeding/ interrupting state of power through aforementioned clutch is provided to the controller 28. Furthermore, a means 102 for resetting the clutch automatically to power interrupted state if the clutch is in power transmission state during starting operation of engine is provided.
