Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically place concrete in proper quantities by a method wherein the stop signal of the screw conveyer is issued from the detecting device, when the electric current flow for more than a certain period of time through the concrete filled at the lower end outlet of a chute at the final stage during the placing of concrete. CONSTITUTION:Three good electrically conductive funnel-shaped chutes 3, for example, are connected in series to a good electrically conductive fixed base plate 9 through the fixed base plate 9 and a lead wire 13 to one pole of a DC power source 14. Each detector electrode 7 is fixed through an insulator 12 to the edge part of the upper end opening of each chute 3 and connected to the other pole of the DC power source 14. A detecting device 8 contains a timer circuit and is connected to the controller 22 of the energizing circuit of the driving motor 15 of each screw conveyer 2. An electric circuit is formed between the chute 3 and the detector electrode 7 through the moisture in the concrete 6a filled at the lower end outlet 4. After the flow of the detection current through the detector electrode 7 and the detecting device 8 for a certain period of time, which is set at the timer circuit, the operation of the screw conveyer is automatically stopped.
