Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent bubbling in a flow indicator even when a control value is closed by placing the control valve at the downstream side of the flow indicator, i.e., at hose and nozzle sides. CONSTITUTION: When inserting a nozzle 28 into the filling port of a car fuel inlet and opening a valve discharge fuel oil, fuel oil is discharged to display the fueling volume of a flowmeter 18 onto an indicator 60. When the supply oil quantity from the nozzle 28 reaches the preset value, a control valve 22 is closed. Then a negative pressure is generated at the downstream of the control valve 22 by the inertia of the oil at the downstream of the control valve 22, that is, the oil existing between the control valve 22 and the nozzle 28 at the end of a hose 26. However, the negative pressure in the downstream section of the control valve 22 is not yet transmitted to a flow indicator 20 because it is placed at the upstream side of the control valve 22 and further a manual valve 30 is closed. Accordingly, bubbles are not generated inside the glass portion 36 of the flow indicator 20.
