Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the focusing to make best use of the advantages inherent to inner focusing or rear focusing by fixing the focus without executing the focusing at a wide range end and moving the entire part or a part of lens groups except the 1st group at a telephoto end. CONSTITUTION:The focus is held fixed without executing the focusing on the wide angle side and the focusing is executed by moving the entire part or a part of the lens groups except the 1st group at a telephoto side. The variable power ratio is adequately about 2-3 times in practicability with the two-focal length selection type lens system, since intermediate focal lengths are not usable with this lens system, unlike a zoom lens. The change of the focusing by the variable power of the moving amt. of the focusing which is the disadvantage of the zoom lens is substantially obviated regardless of inner or rear focusing. The focusing which is small in focusing load and decreases the vignetting rays and the fluctuations in aberrations is thus enables.
