The present invention relates to an agrochemical powder that significantly suppresses electrostatic charging of the spray pipe of a sprayer during spraying. More specifically, the present invention is applicable to the application of agricultural chemical powders such as powders, DL (driftless) powders, and coarse powders (unless otherwise specified, these are collectively referred to as "agrochemical powders") using a backpack-type power spreader or the like. This is a new agrochemical powder that can suppress or prevent electrostatic charging that occurs in direct injection pipes made of insulators such as vinyl chloride, and it contains tricalcium phosphate [Ca 3 ( PO 4 ) 2 ], calcium monohydrogen phosphate [Ca (HPO 4 )] and calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate [Ca (HPO 4 )・2H 2 O], calcium dihydrogen phosphate [Ca (H 2 PO 4 ) 2 ] or calcium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate [Ca(H 2 PO 4 ) 2.H 2 O]. The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the spark discharge that occurs between the spray pipe and the pesticide applicator when the charged potential becomes abnormally high due to the accumulation of static electricity generated in the spray pipe during spraying. The purpose is to prevent the strong electric shocks (sparks) that sprayers receive by making improvements to the pesticide powder itself. Tricalcium phosphate used in the present invention is used in ceramics, livestock feed, nutrients, fertilizers, rubber, etc. Calcium monohydrogen phosphate or its dihydrate is also used as a calcium fortifier (bread, miso, grains, etc.), livestock feed, medicine, toothpaste, etc. Furthermore, calcium dihydrogen phosphate is generally used as a monohydrate and is used as a leavening agent, fermentation aid for brewing, pine wood, carbonizing agent, animal feed additive, and glass manufacturing. . The present invention provides a completely new method of using these calcium phosphates. The mechanism by which direct injection pipes are electrostatically charged when spraying pesticide powder is not clear, but it is generally believed that electric shock occurs when the absolute value of the charged potential exceeds 30KV. Therefore, when this electrical shock occurs when spraying pesticide powder, the sprayer receives a strong shock to his/her body, which is always a fear for the sprayer. Although the voltage of electric shock is high, the current is small, so electric shock does not directly affect human life.
This has become a problem as it may lead to further disasters. In order to protect sprayers from the fear and disaster caused by such electric shocks, many researches have been made to develop new technologies to prevent static electricity during pesticide spraying. For example, a method of spraying an antistatic agent made of a special cationic surfactant (trade name "Denkyl-TS") (Report of the Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute, March 1973, research on antistatic agents for multi-mouthed hose jets); Method of using white carbon, which is used as an auxiliary agent in the preparation of pesticide powder, as an antistatic agent ("Pesticide Production Technology" No. 25 (1971), No. 9)
Page), an antistatic method of adding 3% or more of calcium carbonate powder or 10% or more of calcium sulfate to a pesticide powder containing clay as a main carrier (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 129129/1983). A method for preventing static electricity by adding 5% or more of talc to a pesticide powder as a main carrier (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 129128/1983) Antistatic method by adding higher alkylaryl sulfonic acid or its salt
Various methods have been tried, such as Japanese Patent Publication No. 57501). However, even with these techniques, charging cannot be sufficiently suppressed, and depending on the antistatic agent added, there are problems such as having an adverse effect on the decomposition of agricultural chemical active ingredients. Therefore, it is desired to develop a new and effective antistatic technique to replace these conventional techniques. In view of these circumstances, the present inventors have conducted extensive research and found that calcium monohydrogen phosphate, calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate, calcium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, or It has been discovered that by simply incorporating one type of tricalcium phosphate, it is possible to completely eliminate electric shock to the sprayer, and it exhibits excellent effects such as having no adverse effects on various active ingredients, and has developed the present invention. I was able to complete it. Therefore, the agrochemical powder of the present invention has no inconveniences not only during spraying, but also during manufacturing and storage, and can be a novel and useful antistatic powder. In preparing the agrochemical powder of the present invention, no special method or equipment is required, and tricalcium phosphate, calcium monohydrogen phosphate, calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate, or phosphoric acid can be prepared using commonly used manufacturing methods. Adding one type of calcium dihydrogen or calcium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate to powder, DL powder,
It is sufficient to produce a coarse powder. Further, the amount of the antistatic agent of the present invention added is not particularly limited, and if it is added to the agricultural chemical powder at 0.1% (weight) or more, an excellent antistatic effect can be obtained, and the antistatic effect and economic efficiency can be improved. It is preferably 0.5 to 20% (weight) from the surface. Furthermore, excellent effects can be obtained even if the amount added is greater than this. In the present invention, in addition to the above-specified calcium phosphate compounds, known ordinary antistatic agents may be mixed and used within the scope of the present invention, if necessary. As a typical example,
Basic magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide,
Magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium borate, nickel hydroxide, carbon black, metal salts of stearic acid (Ca, Zn, Mg, etc.), synthetic gypsum, talc, calcium silicate, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, olive oil , zircon silicate, lower fatty acids, lower oxyfatty acids, acetic acid,
Examples include oxalic acid, boric acid, succinic acid, toluenesulfonic acid, dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid, or alkali metal salts, alkaline earth metal salts, ammonium salts, lower alkylamine salts, and alkanolamine salts. The desired antistatic effect can be obtained if the total amount of the mixture of the antistatic compound of the present invention and these antistatic agents is 0.1% (by weight) or more. Further, the mineral powder carrier used in the present invention may be any carrier commonly used in agricultural chemical powders, such as clay, talc, bentonite, kaolin, diatom, and the like. The particle sizes of these carriers are in addition to those used in regular pesticide powders.
It is also possible to use so-called DL (driftless) clay or cut clay in which the content of particles of 10 μm or less is 20% (by weight) or less and the average particle size is 20 μm or less. The agricultural chemical active ingredient used in the present invention is not limited in any way, and any insecticide, fungicide, plant growth regulator, or mixture thereof that can be used in the form of a powder can be used. Examples of this are as follows. The active ingredient names of pesticides are based on the common names in the "Pesticide Handbook 1981 Edition" (published by the Japan Plant Protection Association). Examples include various compounds such as DPC, dichlorofluanid, anilazine, thiophanate methyl, isoprothiolane, and phosdaifene. In addition, in the present invention, adjuvants such as physical property improvers and active ingredient stabilizers that are normally used when formulating agrochemical powders can be used without adversely affecting the expression of the antistatic effect of the present invention. I have no problem with that either. Examples are given below to specifically explain the present invention, but the present invention is not limited thereto. After drying, it was sieved to obtain a coarse powder of 65 to 250 mesh. Test Example 1 Static electricity measurement was performed using the following method. (1) Measuring device A direct injection pipe (made of vinyl chloride with an outer diameter of 60 mm, a wall thickness of 1 mm, and a length of 423 mm) is connected to a backpack-type power spreader (Kyoritsu DM-9AE model), and the spreader is set at a height of 1.
The sprayer and the direct injection pipe were placed on a wooden frame of 1.3 m, and the connecting part of the sprayer and the direct injection pipe was fixed with a stand so that the direct injection pipe was 1 m above the ground. A current collector potential measuring device (Kasuga Denki KS-325) connected to a recorder (Kasuga Denki 401K model) to measure the charged potential at the center of the direct injection pipe.
A mold) was installed. (2) Measurement method: Put 3 kg of pesticide powder manufactured according to Examples 1 to 7 into a backpack-type power spreader, set the throttle lever for adjusting the engine rotation to 9/10, and open the powder discharge amount adjustment lever. It was sprayed at a concentration of 6/10.
The charged potential at the center of the direct injection tube when spraying was measured. The measured value was obtained by reading the electric potential recorded in the powder from a chart every 5 seconds, and was expressed as the average value. Note that on the day of measurement, the reference powder was always sprinkled, and the charged potential of the sample powder was measured after confirming that there was no abnormality in the measured value of the charged potential. The results are shown in Table 1. In the antistatic agent section of the table, A represents tricalcium phosphate, B represents calcium monohydrogen phosphate, BH represents calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate, C represents calcium dihydrogen phosphate, and CH represents calcium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate. .
