Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive higher dyeability, anti-blocking property and weatherability, by specifying the glass transition point of a dyeable resin, the ratio of the solid content of the resin to the total solid content, the glass transition point of a polymer and the like, in an aqueous dyeable layer-forming composition. CONSTITUTION:An image-receiving material is produced by coating a base with an aqueous dyeable layer-forming composition, in a system comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible dye-dyeable resin, a mixed aqueous dispersed liquid comprising a polymer having a silane monomer copolymerized in the molecule thereof and colloidal silica, and a releasable water-soluble surfactant. The glass transition point of the water-soluble or water-dispersible dye-dyeable resin is at least 50 deg.C, and the solid content of the dyeable resin is 70-90% based on the solid content of the composition. Alternatively, the glass transition point of the polymer in the mixed aqueous dispersed liquid is at least 0 deg.C, and the solid content of the dyeable resin is 50-90% based on the solid content of the composition.
