Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve stability to the wind and waves and to obtain accurate underwater information by providing a float part whose gravity center position is arranged below a float center position at a distance. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave transmitter receiver part 2 is constituted by storing a piezoelectric vibrator 20 in a case 24 formed integrally with an arm part 3. Sound absorbers 21 and 22 are adhered on the periphery of the piezoelectric vibrator 20 except an ultrasonic radiation surface and molding resin 23 is charged at the periphery of the piezoelectric vibrator 20 and sound absorbers 21 and 22. Further, signals are inputted to and outputted from the piezoelectric vibrator 20 through a cable 4 connected to the electrode of the piezoelectric vibrator 20. Here, the center G of gravity of a float 1 is below the float center considerably at a distance. Further, the draft line width W of the float part 1 is much shorter than the distance D from a water surface S to the center G of gravity, so even if the water surface slants owing to a wave, the movement quantity of the float center B is small and the center G of gravity is positioned below the float center B considerably at a distance. Consequently, the stability of the device is improved and accurate underwater information is obtained.
