Abstract
PURPOSE:To cut down the cost of construction by a method in which jacks are set below the periphery of an oil tank, the oil tank is raised by adjusting the horizontal position, cement mortar bags are set between the jacks and cement mortar is injected, and the jacks are removed after the mortar hardens. CONSTITUTION:A number of jacks 10 are set between the periphery of an oil tank 1 and the mound M, and the tank 1 is raised by a given distance by operation of the jacks 10, thus adjusting its horizontal position. Cement mortar bags 30 are set between the jacks 10, cement mortar A' is injected into the bags 30 and hardened, and the jacks 10 are removed. Other bags 30 are set in the space so formed and cement mortar is injected to close all the periphery of the tank 1. Cement mortar A' is further injected into the space between the bottom plate 4 surrounded by the bags 30 and the mound M. The correcting work of unequal settlement can thus be attained by using light-weight and small jacks without the need to measure against strong wind by economical liftup operation.
