Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title ink which has excellent heat resistance and can be used for printing even on an object in a high-temperature atmosphere, by mixing glassy coloring agent particles of a specified particle diameter with a solvent, a binder, a surface active agent, and an agent to impart conductivity. CONSTITUTION:Either a glassy mixture prepared by mixing a glassy material, such as frit, with a pigment, or a colored glassy materials is ground in a dry or wet grinder. The ground material is classified with a dry or wet classifier to form glassy coloring agent particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.5mum or smaller and a maximum particle diameter of 1mum or smaller. The glassy coloring agent particles thus obtained are mixed with a solvent, a binder, a surface active agent, and an agent to impart conductivity to give an objective ink. Said glassy coloring agent particles must have a melting point not exceeding the maximum temperature at which an object to be printed can withstand heat. This is because the glass component of said particles should be melted within a temperature range in which the object can withstand heat, so that adhesiveness to the object after cooling can be revealed.
