Abstract
PURPOSE:To collect status data of a data channel in a short time by allowing a monitor data collection means provided on its own MODEM to collect sequentially data to be monitored by its own MODEM and an opposite MODEM and transferring the data to a monitor controller. CONSTITUTION:Its own MODEM 2 is provided with a monitor data collection means 24 for collecting sequentially the data to be monitored of its own MO DEM 2 and the opposite MODEM 3 and data storage means 25, 26 for holding the monitored data collected by the monitor data collection means, and the monitor controller 5 is provided with a data transfer control means for transferring the monitored data stored in the data storage means 25, 26 of its own MODEM 2 to the monitor controller 5 and for storing it. Thus, the monitor controller 5 collects the status data via a monitor data cable 14 by only calling its own MODEM 2 in the direction of data channel sequentially. Thus, the data is collected in a short time.
